Her legacy
In Loving Memory of Deborah Ann Hodges
Deborah Ann Hodges was born October 1, 1954 and joined her parents in Heaven on November 8, 2004. Debbie was diagnosed with cancer in May of 2000 and fought it as hard as she possibly could down to her last breath. Although she is no longer with us, we feel as if she won her battle because she was able to achieve goals she set for herself. She was the strongest person I have ever known. Debbie was a loving wife to her husband of 27 years, Jerry Hodges. She was also a cherished mother of two children, her son, Jerry Hodges, and her daughter, (me) Casey Hodges. She had four siblings, two brothers and two sisters: Pam (Bernie) Woods, Dana (Greg) Lozar, Jim (Elke) Cronen, and Thad Cronen. She also had numerous nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by an unbelieveable number of friends. She will be missed every day for the rest of our lives until we are able to be reunited with her. Anyone who met her can consider themselves truly blessed even if they only knew her a very short time, because thats all she needed to touch your life. If everyone tries to be a little like her, the world will become a much better place. She didn't have to go to Heaven to become an angel because she was an angel to all of us while she was here.
